What We’re Doing To Keep You Safe & Satisfied!

What a crazy couple of weeks it has been! With everything changing so rapidly we have been working diligently to keep up with your needs while staying within the necessary guidelines and keeping our team members safe. This weekend, our management team got together and made the tough decision to suspend all take out and delivery options for the foreseeable future. We’re heartbroken and definitely feeling a sense of loss for now, but we know that this is the best move in order to keep everyone on our team, as well as our guests, as safe as possible.

While we are closed we will be keeping up with the news and looking forward to opening back up 100% as soon as we are able. In the meantime we are going to take the opportunity to get some projects done, spend some much needed time with our families and pets, and look forward to a great & busy summer!

We are still accepting private event reservations for the summer, fall, winter and beyond as well, and you can take advantage of our Plan From Home promotions by emailing Events@TheLobbyDenver.com

Update: 3/16/20 @ 6:30pm

Today, Mayor Hancock released a statement mandating that all foodservice establishments close for the next eight weeks, until May 11th.

During this time our dining room will be closed, but we will have delivery, take-out and curbside pickup options available through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Chow Now and Door Dash. These may take a couple of days to get up and running, so please keep an eye out and thank you for your patience!

Other ways you can help us weather the storm…

  • All Merch items and gift cards will be available through the online/take out/curbside pick up platforms as well. So, if you’ve been eyeing that Oliver tee or that sweet Grassroots California hat…now is your time to shine!
  • Gift Cards are also available for purchase over the phone at 303-997-9911, or by email at orders@thelobbydenver.com. All gift cards will be mailed to you with a sanitizing alcohol wipe! Safety first!
  • If you’ve been meaning to write that 5 star review, now is a great time to do so. Please leave us a review on Yelp, Google, Trip Advisor, or your other favorite online review platform. Thank you, in advance, for your kind words!
  • Go be nice to someone. Call a friend, message a family member, wave at a stranger or check on your elderly neighbor. For real, folks. The world needs some love right now.

Dear Lobby Lovers, 

By now we’re sure that you are all aware of the global public health risk brought on by the COVID-19 coronavirus. If not, then you may have been in self-quarantine for much longer than we know, but hey man to each their own! 

Like many of you we have been following the global, national and local news very closely, as well as social media and information on the CDC and WHO websites. We have been keeping a close eye on what’s happening in the Seattle and New York restaurant industry, as well as how economies in foreign countries are handling the pandemic. There’s some freaky stuff going on out there, huh?

The health and safety of our team and guests has always been, and is even more so now, our top priority. Every day we strive to maintain the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness, and have always strictly enforced the rules and regulations set in place by our local Department of Public Health. Due to the recent pandemic, however, we have begun to take several additional measures to combat the spread of the virus, and maintain an environment that our team will feel safe working in and that you will feel safe dining in. 

So, what does that include? Well…here are just some of the things that you can expect…

  • Clean Yo Mitts! Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed at all POS terminals, near the entrances and near each set of restrooms. These are for guests and team member use, and we encourage you to use them as much as you’d like. They are NOT meant to replace proper hand washing. Come in and check out our new bathroom signs that include different tunes to scrub your mitts to!
  • No Offence, But…All tables, chairs & menus will be wiped down with sanitizing disinfectant between each use. We usually do this anyway, but it doesn’t hurt to reiterate. 
  • Pass the Ketchup! All condiments, including salts & peppers, will be available upon request only and will be wiped down with sanitizing disinfectant between each use. 
  • STOP! Cleanin’ Time! At 10am and 2pm, we will ask our kitchen team to stop what they are doing and disinfect all surfaces and sweep the floors of any debris to minimize the chance of cross contamination. This may lead to longer ticket times at peak hours. Sorry, not sorry.
  • No Glove, No Love! Team members will be required to wear gloves when bussing tables, delivering food, polishing glassware, etc. Our kitchen team always wears gloves anyway, so no big changes there. 
  • Quarentini Time! We are encouraging any team members that don’t feel well to stay home from work and contact their doctors. If a team member comes to work feeling under the weather, or if they begin feeling unwell while at work, we have a thermometer on site to take their temperature and gage whether or not they are able to return to work. (Does the “whisky flu” give you a fever? We’re about to find out!)

 

If you find yourself feeling unwell or stuck at home with work or kids, we encourage you to order delivery through Uber Eats or pick-up through Grubhub to get your Lobby fix! To do this, hover over the “Order Online” link above and choose your method of ordering. Follow the links to get one step closer to in-home brunching bliss!

Our chefs are working hard to beef up our delivery options as we speak, so keep checking back for extended options and new yummy & travel-friendly items! We know what you’re thinking and sadly, no, we can not do bottomless mimosas to-go. Sorry!

Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be continuing to make adjustments to keep up with national and local requirements, and to do the best we can by our team and guests. As things progress we’ll stay in communication about any major changes that may affect your visit. This may lead to a short-term change in hours, added cleaning practices, temporary closures or (we shudder to think) a suspension of the tower program. WOAH CALM DOWN! This has not happened yet, it’s a last resort, so slow your roll bro!

Finally (we know this has been a lot to read and you’re nearing the end of your attention span so thanks and just bear with us one more paragraph), we want to thank you for your patience, and for your continued support and loyalty. This is going to be a very difficult time for everyone – small business owners, employees, people who really are legitimately out of toilet paper – and without you we wouldn’t have been able to make it this far in the first place. 

We know that we can count on you to help us weather this storm, too, and we’re here to help you through as well. After all, what’s better for your immune system than bottomless orange juice or kombucha (with champagne but still)? Just think about all those vitamins and minerals you’re ingesting!
